Foreign students pursuing an undergraduate degree at Tunghai International College (IBA/SSM/IDP) must follow the International Degree Student application process.
Note on Qualifications:
International students studying in Taiwan must meet the qualifications of the Ministry of Education (MOE)s Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan. Please ensure you qualify to apply as an international student at Tunghai University before submitting an application (see brochure p25 for details).
Overseas Chinese Students refers to students validated by the Overseas Compatriots Affairs Commission (OCAC) as those who were born overseas and resided there till the present time, or have stayed overseas for more than six consecutive years and have a permanent or long-term residence certificate (Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students in Taiwan).
Oversea Chinese students must apply through the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students (recruitment brochures and handouts available in February). In the meantime, please refer to the Ministry of Education or OCAC links below for more information:
